Questions about the member area
What is the difference between members and password protection?
A password is the same for everyone: whoever passes it on gives access to all. A member has an account with their own email, can be deactivated individually and gets progress and a watchlist. For a membership the account is the right way, a password suits a single video.
Can members register themselves?
Yes, registration in the portal can be opened up. Alternatively you create accounts by hand when payment happens elsewhere and you only follow up with access. Which variant belongs to which plan is in the pricing overview.
See pricingWhat do members see when they sign in?
Their portal with your categories and series, at the top whatever they started and did not finish, plus their watchlist. The position is stored per account, not per device.
Can I show individual content for free?
Yes. Visibility is set per video and per series — public, unlisted or private, and for series members only on top. So a first episode can stay open while the rest sits behind the login.
What happens when someone cancels?
You deactivate the account, access ends, the content stays untouched. If the person comes back you reactivate the same account — progress and watchlist are still there.
